Just realized cold brew from the night before tastes better at 3pm than fresh stuff
I've been making cold brew in a mason jar every night for about 6 months now, and I always drank it in the morning like a normal person. But last Tuesday I got slammed at the shop and didn't touch my coffee until almost 4pm. I poured it over ice expecting it to taste flat or stale, and it was honestly the best cup I'd had all week. Something about those extra hours in the fridge after straining makes it smoother and less acidic. Now I make a batch on Sunday and just let it sit until the afternoon, and I swear the flavor keeps getting better through Wednesday. I'm not a coffee scientist, just a guy with a fridge and a jar, but this has been a game changer for my whole afternoon. Anyone else notice this with their cold brew, or am I just fooling myself?
Bro it's coffee in a jar in your fridge, not wine. It's not aging, it's just sitting there. You probably just liked it more cause you were busy and didn't think about it all day.
