Unpopular opinion: quit replacing your baseboards on every ABQ flip
I keep seeing folks in the NE heights rip out perfectly good baseboards and drop $400 on new ones when a $12 tube of painter's caulk and a fresh coat of semi-gloss makes the originals look brand new. That old pine is way thicker than the finger-jointed stuff they sell now. Has anyone else had luck saving the originals instead of tearing them out?
