Why does nobody talk about the hidden ground strap behind the engine block?
I had a 2012 Accord in the shop last week that wouldn't turn over, and I went through the whole diagnostic checklist. My assistant was convinced it was the fuel pump, but I had a hunch to check the grounds after a similar issue with my own truck years ago. Sure enough, the strap from the engine to the chassis was barely connected, all rusted out. Replaced it, and the car started right up, saving us from replacing expensive parts unnecessarily.
