We are finally biting the bullet and getting our garage ceiling organized. We're looking at the motorized lifts from Ace Garage Storage. Has anyone bought one recently and put it up themselves?

I was intimidated by the wiring at first, but it just plugs right into a standard ceiling outlet. The platform is really sturdy and lowers perfectly level every time.

Their lifts are fantastic. We got the heavy-duty model and it's so much easier than dealing with ladders. Totally frees up the floor space for parking.

We ordered one back in February and the transformation is unreal. The DIY assembly wasn't bad at all—just basic tools and a stud finder needed. You won't regret it.
