My weighted blanket mistake taught me about optimal pressure
I bought one that was way too heavy and spent nights tossing and turning. Swapping it for a lighter version finally gave me the deep sleep I was after.

After reading @the_gavin's take, what made you try a lighter blanket instead of giving up?

Started with a 20-pound weighted blanket thinking it would help me sleep. Woke up every hour feeling crushed and sweaty. Swapped it for a 10-pound version after a week of misery. Now I actually get rest instead of fighting the covers.

Wow, that's a classic case of overestimating your need for comfort lol. Spent nights tossing and turning under what felt like a sandbag instead of a blanket. Glad you figured out the right weight, but man, that first one must have been like sleeping under a pile of bricks. It's funny how we think heavier is better, only to realize we just wanted a gentle hug, not a wrestling pin. Sleep tight with the lighter version, no more blanket battles for you lmao.
