Just realized my grip on manual drafting tools feels at odds with the push for digital patterns.

I love the control of hand work but see the clear time savings with computers, so how do you all balance tradition with progress?

Totally get that. I use digital for the first drafts and big edits, then print and do the final tweaks by hand. Best of both worlds without it taking forever.

Hand edits on paper stick in your memory better, so you learn from your mistakes. Plus, it feels more FINAL when you see it in ink.
