Rant: Overuse of heat tools at the mall salon is frying hair
I keep seeing clients with brittle ends from that place. Maybe warn people about too much flat ironing.

Honestly, after a bad fry job last year (thanks, cheap salon), I always bring my own heat protectant spray. It's saved my hair more than once. For example, I ask to see the bottle before they start styling. If they give me a weird look, I just hand them mine. @jaken28, it might seem extra, but it's worth it to avoid damage. Plus, some places use really watered-down stuff that does nothing.
