My main client ghosted me right before a big project payment
It happened two weeks ago, a Friday afternoon. We had a $2,500 project ready to start Monday, and all communication just stopped. I waited three days, then sent a follow-up email and called. Nothing. I had already blocked off that week for them. I had to scramble and reach out to three past clients for smaller jobs to fill the gap. Has anyone else had a client vanish like that right on the edge of a deal?

Man, that is brutal. Happened to me once and it just throws your whole week into chaos. Good move reaching out to past clients to fill the gap, that's smart. It's the worst feeling when you've blocked off time and they just disappear. Hope you get a check or at least an explanation.
