Found a huge snapping turtle on the trail and it took me 45 minutes to help it cross
I mean, I just wanted to get it off the path before a bike came through. Ended up using a big stick and a piece of cardboard from a nearby recycling bin to gently nudge it along, and it kept turning around. Anyone else have a simple walk turn into a whole rescue mission?

Spent twenty minutes once trying to get a possum out of a trash can with a broom. It would scramble up the side, look me right in the eye, and then let go and drop back to the bottom. Felt like a weird, frustrating puppet show.

Was that possum secretly training you for a future in customer service? Because I've had almost the same exact conversation trying to explain a return policy to someone who just kept circling back to the same wrong point. You put in all that effort and feel like you've made zero real progress.
