Shoutout to my local credit union's new app feature

I used to dread logging into my old bank's website because it felt like a maze. About six months ago, my credit union in Portland added a simple spending tracker right on the main dashboard. Now I can see exactly where my money goes each month without digging through statements. It totally changed how I plan for groceries and gas. Has anyone else's bank added a tool that actually made a difference for you?

Does it break down your spending by category automatically, or do you have to tag each transaction yourself?

Wait, your credit union did that for free? My big bank app tries to sell me their "premium financial insights" package for like ten bucks a month to see that stuff.
