My aunt insists her chocolate chip cookie recipe is perfect, but I had to change the baking time to 10 minutes after a batch burned in my oven last Tuesday.
Has anyone else had to adjust a 'perfect' family recipe for their own kitchen?

Your aunt is probably right and you just messed up the prep. Ovens don't vary that much, @the_emery. Follow the recipe exactly next time.

Ovens are all different, happens to me too.
