Remember when we just used a bowl of hot towels? My steamer's hose split open during a facial Friday, spraying water everywhere.

Had to finish the treatment with the old hand towel method, which honestly felt kind of nice and simple. Anyone still keep a backup hot towel cabi on hand for emergencies like that?

Honestly prefer the hot towel method every time. Steamers feel so fussy and clinical compared to wrapping someone in real warmth. That old school touch just makes the whole experience more human, you know? Why fix what was never broken in the first place?

Right? I tried a steamer once and nearly took out a light fixture. Some of us are just meant for the simple towel life.

Oh man, I feel that. My one attempt with a steamer left my bathroom looking like a rainforest and my shirt just as wrinkled. Went right back to hanging things in the bathroom while I take a hot shower. The steam from the shower is free, it's easy, and I've never almost broken anything with a towel.
