Just had the worst week of my career because of a new client's bad advice
A woman came in for a facial last Tuesday and insisted her friend told her to use a 30% glycolic acid peel at home before her wedding. I refused to do the service she wanted because her skin was already raw. She left a terrible review saying I was unhelpful. Has anyone else had to deal with a client who got dangerous advice from a non-pro?

Ugh, that's brutal. Her friend basically told her to set her face on fire before the big day. Some people just can't be saved from their own bad decisions, even by a pro.

Right craig.mila, it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Some folks just have to learn the hard way.

Send a clear warning about the risks without sugarcoating it. She might get mad now but she'll thank you later when her skin isn't ruined. Sometimes being a good friend means telling hard truths.
