Honestly, I was totally wrong about compostable wax strips

Honestly, I always stuck with regular wax strips because I thought they were cleaner. Tbh, a client brought in her own compostable strips for a session last week. She said she was trying to cut down on plastic waste. I was skeptical at first, but I gave them a try. Ngl, they worked exactly the same, maybe even better because they were softer on the skin. After that, I ordered a batch for my studio. Now I see how much less trash we produce each day. It's a small change, but it adds up, and my clients love the eco-friendly option.

I switched to compostable trash bags in my apartment last year, starting with a fifty pack from a brand called EcoSafe. My building has a compost bin in the alley, so I figured I'd give it a shot even though I worried about leaks. They held up just as well as the old plastic ones, and now my regular trash can barely fills up each week because the food scraps go out separately. It felt like a tiny thing to change, but seeing that big drop in actual garbage bags going to the curb really proved it to me. I'm totally sold on trying the compostable version of things whenever I can find them now.

You seriously thought they'd work better than regular wax?

Like @william791's bags, these eco swaps quietly prove small changes actually work.
