Changed my mind about using a voltage pen as a final check

I was in an attic in Phoenix and my pen showed dead on a wire, but my meter read 120. The insulation was just thick enough to trick the pen. Anyone else had a close call like that?

Yeah, that "dead" reading is exactly why I don't trust them.
