I just hit 10,000 revisions on a single municipal sewer plan

The client kept changing the pipe specs after every site visit. It mattered because my boss asked if I was drawing a sewer system or a modern art piece. Anyone else have a project that just refused to be finished?

10k revisions is insane, man. I had a client who changed the color code for electrical lines on a site plan like fifteen times. The legend looked like a rainbow threw up by the end.

Oh man, that hits home. I started making them sign off on the legend as its own separate page before we even start the real drafting. Once it's approved, any change to the colors after that is a paid change order. It cut down on the nonsense real quick, lol. They think twice about wanting "mauve" instead of "red" when it costs them another hundred bucks.

Wait, but hear me out. Sometimes those color changes are the client trying to get it right for their own team (you know, like @ray_miller84's guy). Charging for every little tweak feels kinda hostile, like we're not on the same side.
