Vent: a host in Lisbon said my laptop bag made me look like a tourist, so now I carry it different
I was working from a cafe in Lisbon for 2 weeks and the host there said my laptop bag made me look like a tourist, and it made me a target for pickpockets. He showed me how he keeps his bag in front of him and never sets it on a chair back, and I switched to that on the spot. Has anyone else changed how they carry their gear after a local pointed it out?
