Spent $300 on a co-working pass in Lisbon I barely used

I paid for a month at a fancy co-working spot in Lisbon thinking I would get tons done, but the wifi was slower than my hostel and I ended up working from a park bench most days. The daily rate was $15 but I was only there like 6 times before I gave up and lost the rest. Has anyone else burned cash on a nomad hub that just didn't match the hype, or am I the only one who falls for those pretty photos?

Did you at least get a good tan from that park bench? I've definitely done the same thing with a fancy gym membership, paid for a month, went twice, and then told myself I'd "make up for it" the next week like that's a real thing. The photos always show someone smiling with a laptop and a latte, not the reality of fighting for an outlet next to a guy in a video call.
