Guy in a Chiang Mai cafe said he's been 'living on $400 a month' and I watched him pay $6 for a smoothie
Sat near him for 2 hours and he ordered three of them plus a $9 brunch plate. That is not a $400 month, that is a $400 week at best. Anyone actually pulling off sub $500 months in Thailand right now, or is this just a humble brag that only works if you skip the cafe scene entirely?
