Warning: Spent 2 days fixing a broken email automation sequence
Honestly, I thought my email sequence was fine until I noticed like 40% of my leads weren't getting the follow-up emails. Took me a whole afternoon to realize I had the wrong trigger set in Klaviyo. Then another day to fix all the broken links and timing. Anyone else have a simple setting mess up their whole campaign?

Man, a buddy of mine once had his whole welcome series go out at 3am because he set the timezone wrong.

Oof, that's rough. "Go out at 3am" is a whole different kind of nightmare. I bet those open rates were either terrible or weirdly high from insomniacs. He probably woke up to a support inbox full of "why are you emailing me right now" stuff. Such an easy mistake to make too, one wrong dropdown and your whole automation is busted.

Oh man, I've been there in a different way. I set up a webinar reminder sequence once and somehow had the timezone set to UTC instead of my local time. Everyone got the "starting in 1 hour" email right as the thing was ending. My inbox the next morning was brutal. People were nice about it, but a couple folks straight up asked if I was running my business from a submarine or something. The worst part was I didn't even catch it for like three days, so the whole automated flow was just firing off at the wrong hours the whole time.
