The coffee shop on 5th had a QR code menu and it made me rethink my whole landing page setup
Stopped at a small coffee place in Des Moines on Tuesday and the only way to see the menu was scanning a QR code on the table. That page loaded in under a second, had maybe 8 items on it, and there was zero clutter. No popups, no email signup box, nothing. It hit me that I've been stuffing every landing page I build with 4 or 5 calls to action when this thing did one job really well. I pulled up my phone analytics later and the average person looks at a page for 12 seconds tops. So why am I still hiding the main button under three paragraphs of text? Curious if anyone here has tried trimming a client's page down to just one goal and what happened to their conversion rate.
