Just realized I spent 3 months making blog posts for Google and zero for my email list of 900 people
I got obsessed with chasing search traffic for my woodworking site, so I wrote 14 posts trying to rank for stuff like 'best finish for walnut' and got maybe 200 visitors total. Meanwhile my email list of 900 people sat there getting nothing from me, and when I finally sent one project walkthrough to them, 60 people replied asking questions. Why do all the SEO tools push keywords so hard when the people who already signed up get ignored?
