Google's own docs say 57% of mobile clicks die in under 3 seconds and I can't decide if that's a load speed problem or a copy problem
Was reading through Google's PageSpeed docs last week for a client site and hit the stat that over half of mobile visitors bail if a page takes more than 3 seconds to load. Now I'm stuck arguing with myself. One side says fix the tooling, compress images, move to a faster host, done. Other side says those people were never buying anyway and the real fix is above the fold copy that hooks them instantly. Curious where this community lands, is 3 seconds really the line or is that number way more about intent than speed?
