Burned $400 on a social media scheduler that can't even post reliably

I signed up for a 12-month plan of that popular scheduler last February after seeing all the hype in Facebook groups. Three months in, it started failing to post to Instagram Stories at random times, and support took 6 days to reply twice. Customer service kept blaming 'platform updates' and refused a refund after the 30-day window. Anyone else get burned by these annual-billing traps, or is there a tool that actually works for multi-platform scheduling without the flakiness?

You said the key phrase yourself, "annual billing traps" and I get why it feels that way, but honestly I see it a bit differently. A 30 day refund window is pretty standard across most SaaS tools, and they probably spelled that out in the terms you clicked through. The real problem is people like us get dazzled by the yearly discount and forget we're basically gambling on a tool we barely tested. I've been burned too, not with this exact app, but I've learned to always run a free trial for a full month with my actual accounts before committing to any annual plan. If it can't handle your real workflow in 30 days, it won't magically get better after you pay for twelve.
