Old way vs new way of backing up art files
I used to save everything to a single external hard drive. Then my drive died last March and I lost 2 years of commission work. Now I use three separate cloud services and a local NAS setup. Anyone else have a storage fail moment that made them change their whole system?

Damn dude, that sucks so bad. I had a similar scare where my laptop got stolen with a bunch of unfinished sketches on it and I realized how screwed I would have been if I didn't have random copies floating around. Now I'm paranoid and have everything on Google Drive, Dropbox, AND a little external SSD that lives in my desk drawer. Its kind of annoying to manage three copies of everything but losing that 2 years of work sounds like a nightmare I never wanna live through lol.

@tylerpark totally, having stuff in multiple places is the only way to sleep at night. I actually keep a thumb drive in my car's glovebox with just the latest versions of my most important files. It's probably a fire hazard in the summer but hey, better than losing everything again. The triple backup method is a lifesaver even if it's a pain to maintain.
