Hit 500 completed commissions last week and it felt just like another Tuesday

After ten years of doing digital portraits on the side, that 500th piece was a simple cat illustration for a repeat client in Columbus, and I didn't even realize the milestone until I counted back through my payment records, has anyone else had a big number sneak up on them like that?

500 commissions is a nice round number, but I have to ask - did you actually count the cat illustration as one or did you split up the revisions? @lucasschmidt might have the same issue with that golden retriever, since pet portraits often come with a few back-and-forth rounds that could count as separate pieces. The way we track these milestones can get a little fuzzy, especially with repeat clients who always want tweaks. It's worth checking your payment records twice just to be sure the number is right.

My 487th was a golden retriever with sunglasses and I almost missed the number too.
