Wiring harness meltdown on the 379, no warning at all
Last Tuesday I had an 04 Peterbilt 379 come in with a no-start. Chased it for 3 hours, turns out the harness rubbed through against the firewall near the passenger side, shorted the ECM power line. Replaced the section with some Deutsch connectors and split loom, but the customer wanted me to do it el cheapo first. Has anyone else dealt with a harness rub that had zero codes, just a dead truck on the side of I-80?
