Vent: my torque wrench sat in the wrong drawer for 18 months and I finally checked it
Three years back I chucked my older click-type wrench in the bottom drawer of the box at the shop in Bakersfield because I got tired of moving it around. Last week a kid asked to borrow one for a head bolt job, so I dug it out, and sure enough it was way off when I checked it against the shop's tester. How often are you guys actually sending yours out to get checked, or do I just have bad habits?
