The elevator button thing, I was so wrong about it
I used to get so annoyed when people pressed the elevator button multiple times, like once is enough right? Then last week at my dentist's office on 5th Ave, this older guy kept mashing the button and I almost said something. But the elevator came super fast, and the maintenance guy told me the sensors are old and need the extra presses to register. Now I find myself doing it too, and I feel like a hypocrite every time. Anyone else secretly tap twice now or am I just crazy?
