Microwave button fussing, my sister called me out and now I notice it everywhere

I was over at my sister's place last Tuesday and she got all worked up because someone at her office sets the microwave to 1:11 instead of just hitting the +30 seconds button. I laughed at first, but then she pointed out I do the same thing with my work fridge, adding random extra seconds for no reason. It hit different because I never saw it as annoying, I just thought I was being specific with my timing. She said it's the pause between the beep and the door opening that bugs her, like the suspense is unnecessary. Now I catch myself doing it and honestly it is kinda weird how we all have these tiny timer rituals. Has anyone else had a family member call out a habit you never knew was irritating to other people?
