Swapped a cracked tablet for a pasta maker, somehow won big

Last month I listed my old Kindle with a cracked screen on here, expecting maybe a coffee mug in return. Instead, someone offered a barely-used pasta maker they got for Christmas and hated. I figured why not, since the Kindle was just gathering dust on my shelf. After 3 tries with the dough, I finally made decent fettuccine and now I'm hooked. It's crazy how one person's useless gadget becomes another person's favorite kitchen tool. Anyone else swap something busted for a real upgrade like this? What did you trade?
