So last Tuesday I was walking my dog Rufus around the block in Denver and decided to try that cool leash flip thing I saw on a video. I gave it one big swing to loop it over my wrist and the handle smacked me right in the shin instead. I went down on the sidewalk while Rufus just stood there staring at me like I was a stranger. My next door neighbor Deb saw the whole thing from her porch and yelled 'you okay honey?' while laughing. I learned that a 45 pound dog does not care about your fancy tricks, he only cares about sniffing the same bush for 10 minutes. Has anyone else tried a pet hack from the internet and failed in public like this?
