My neighbor's leaf blower at 7am made me a full convert to raking
Used to think raking was for old folks until that Saturday morning wakeup call from a gas blower last fall, and now I'm out there with a rake at 6:45 before anyone else is even up. Anyone else find the quiet method just hits different, or am I turning into my dad at 34?

Always figured raking was just busywork for folks who didn't want to admit they were bored. But after one winter of listening to that blower at dawn, I grabbed a rake and honestly it's like therapy now. Quiet, steady, and nobody's ears are bleeding.
