My crochet blanket hit a knot 6 rows from the end and I ran out of the same dye lot, fight me on adding a gray border
I was on the couch Tuesday night with 6 rows to go on a twin size blanket, 3 skeins of the same color, and I hit a factory knot 4 inches into the last one. I pulled 32 inches back to the knot and spit spliced it because everyone online swears the knot is fine, but my splice is thick and obvious. Now I'm at row 214 of 220 with a lump in the middle of the row, and I'm leaning toward ripping it back to row 210 rather than live with it. Am I the only one who would frog 40 minutes of work over one bad join?

My friend Janice had the same thing happen on a baby blanket and she just kept going. Two years later that lump still bugs her every time she sees it on the crib, and now the kid is in a big bed and she still points it out to people! Ripping back 4 rows is nothing compared to staring at that bump for years. Frog it and redo it, your future self will thank you.
