Hot take: I picked a cheap rotary tool over a fancy name brand and my $30 gamble paid off
Everyone in my craft group said save up for the expensive one, but I grabbed a $30 rotary tool at the hardware store in Fresno and it carved through 6 walnut spoons without slowing down. The cheap chuck wobbles a bit at high speed, so I just run it slower and it's been fine for 4 months now. Anyone else skip the pricey gear and regret it later, or am I just lucky?
