Unpopular opinion: I chose 10 pm bedtime over 11 pm and my body is still mad at me
Two weeks ago I set a goal to hit the pillow at 10 pm instead of my usual 11 pm scroll session. The first night I just laid there staring at the ceiling for 40 minutes like a weirdo, so I got up and ate a bowl of cereal at 10:15. Night three I finally fell asleep on time but woke up at 4 am convinced I was late for something, checked my phone, and couldn't fall back asleep. By day five I was so grumpy my wife asked if I was mad at her, and I honestly couldn't tell her yes or no. Now I'm wondering if I should just go back to 11 pm and stop fighting my own brain. Anyone else try to shift their bedtime by just one hour and have it totally backfire?
