Took the scenic route instead of the expressway after 3 weeks of boring drives
I always hit I-15 to get home from work, but this morning I said screw it and took the old highway through Rancho Cucamonga instead. The traffic lights added 15 minutes but I passed that taco truck I always wondered about and finally stopped for a breakfast burrito. Anyone else switch up their usual path just to break the monotony, and did it turn out worth it?
My buddy did the same thing last month and found this tiny donut shop he'd been driving past for years. Now he takes the long way every Friday, so yeah, seems like it paid off for him.
