Spent 45 minutes on a bus last week because a goose decided the crosswalk was hers

I was in downtown Portland waiting for the 15, and this huge goose just planted itself in the middle of the street and refused to move. The driver had to get out and shoo it away with a newspaper, and everyone on the bus was cracking up. Has anyone else had a weird animal delay during their commute?

Craig, you're right that 45 minutes isn't long for a proper gander walk, but @noaht15 has a point that it might be overkill for one goose if you're just moving it from point A to B. The real angle here is that ganders don't care about your schedule, they'll just stand there and hiss until they're ready to move, no matter how much time you block off. If you rush them, you'll end up chasing it around the yard for an hour and a half instead.
