How spotting a weird URL saved me from a phishing attack
Last week, I got an email that looked like it was from my bank. It said my account was locked and I needed to click a link. I was about to do it, but then I looked at the link address. It had extra numbers and letters that didn't seem right. I decided to open my browser and type the bank's website myself. When I logged in, everything was fine. I realized the email was fake. Now, I always check the sender's address and never click links in suspicious emails. It's a simple habit that keeps my info safe.

Scammers rely on our hurry, don't they?

Those scammers really need to up their game if a random string of numbers is their big move. Trying way too hard to look official and failing miserably. Good on you for not falling for such sloppy work.

Agree completely, their attempts are getting painfully obvious. Almost feels like they're not even trying anymore.
