Unpopular opinion: the 76% stat on buyer committees got me rethinking our whole lead gen plan
I was building a pitch deck last week and pulled up a Gartner stat I saw on LinkedIn that says 76% of B2B buyers prefer no rep contact at all in the early stage. That number hit me hard because our whole funnel is built on getting a demo booked in the first two weeks. So how do you market security tools when the buyer wants to stay invisible for most of the process, do you go all in on self-serve content or keep pushing demos anyway?
