Pro tip: my dad's old stamp album had a 3-cent stamp worth $1,100 and we almost tossed it
I pulled out my dad's old stamp album from the closet in Wichita last month and found a 1940s 3-cent stamp I'd never seen before. A dealer told me it was a rare misprint and quoted $1,100 on the spot. I had no clue the value could hide in a beat-up book like that. Does anyone else here hunt for misprints, or am I the only one flipping pages looking for tiny flaws?
