Tried writing from a photo prompt vs a single word prompt and wow, one of them actually worked
My writing group in Boise handed out a random photo of an empty diner booth and said write for 15 minutes. I got 400 words out of that photo before the timer even beeped, easy. Last month the same group gave us just the word "regret" and I stared at a blank page for 20 minutes and wrote two bad sentences. Something about having a real scene in front of me just unlocks it, does anyone else have a prompt type that works way better than the rest?
