Tried the "one sentence prompt" trick instead of my usual paragraph, and it's not even close
I've been running a small writing group at the library here in Boise since March, and last week I switched from handing out full paragraph prompts to just one sentence ones like "the last person on Earth hears a knock." The difference was wild, everyone wrote for the full 15 minutes instead of fizzling out after 5. Turns out too much setup gives people a whole world to fit into, and one line just gives them a door. What's the shortest prompt that's ever actually worked for you?
