My reading corner was either a $9 thrift chair or a beanbag, and I picked wrong
Two months ago I finally cleared out the junk corner in my apartment and it came down to a beat up wingback from Goodwill for $9 or a $40 beanbag from the mall. I grabbed the chair because it looked cozy and old, like something in a bookshop. Turns out the cushions are flat and the arms dig into my elbows, so I end up reading on the floor half the time anyway. My friend Dana sat in it for 10 minutes last week and asked if my back was okay, which says it all. I still threw a fuzzy blanket and a $6 lamp from Target next to it, which helps a little, but I keep staring at beanbags online. Did anyone here go beanbag and regret it, or is there a cheap chair fix I'm missing? I don't want to spend another dime unless it actually works.
