I finally got my reading corner right after 4 lamp swaps

Last week I rearranged my tiny nook near the window and swapped the overhead light for a warm floor lamp with a fabric shade. The difference was night and day. My old lamp cast this harsh blue tone that made even a favorite chair feel cold. Now with a soft 2700K bulb and a little side table for tea, I actually read for 2 hours straight without checking my phone. Anyone else notice how much the light color changes the whole vibe of a shelf area?

Wait, you actually LIKE harsh bright lighting, @ray_campbell46? That's wild to me, I feel like my eyes are being attacked after ten minutes. Different strokes, I guess, but I'll take my cozy dim lamp any day.
