The 5AM museum noise level made me rethink my whole quiet game setup

I tried playing a cozy farming sim with zero music and all the sound effects at max volume the other night during my pre-shift wind down. Turns out the clinking of coins and the soft wind actually made me MORE anxious, not less. I switched to 20% volume with a lo-fi playlist and suddenly my little virtual garden felt like a sanctuary. It's wild how audio changes the whole mood, has anyone else messed with their sound settings like this?
