Solo farming beats multiplayer co-op for me in Stardew Valley

I tried that co-op farm with two friends for about 40 hours last spring, but the shared crop planning and time pressure just stressed me out, so I went back to my own single-player save where I can pause mid-morning and water my pumpkins at my own pace, has anyone else found multiplayer actually ruins the chill vibe?
