I finally stopped selling everything in Stardew and my farm got way better
Played about 140 hours of Stardew over a year and a half and always dumped every single crop into the shipping bin the second I picked it. Then my buddy watched me play for five minutes at his place in Boise and goes, why are you selling the stuff you need for the Community Center. I had no answer. Turns out I was selling things like gold cauliflower and void eggs that I needed for bundles and quests, then scrambling to grow more. Anyone else hoard their crops and only sell the extra, or am I the only one who was playing it wrong this long?
The real trap is that the shipping bin gives you that little jingle and gold numbers pop up, so your brain just trains itself to dump everything. Keeping a chest right outside the bin changes the whole game.
