A random comment on my farm layout made me rethink everything
Someone on the Stardew subreddit said my sprinkler placement was wasting 3 tiles of space and I got defensive at first. Redid the whole thing and now I harvest an extra 40 crops per season without any extra effort. What's the smallest critique someone gave you that actually improved your game?

Wait, isn't that part of the fun though? @carter.casey I get what you're saying but having a slightly imperfect farm feels more like mine, you know? Who cares if I lose 30 blueberries if I like how it looks.

I used to be the same way honestly, I thought my first farm was perfect until someone pointed out I was wasting a whole row of sprinkler coverage because I put them too close together. I got a little salty about it at first like "my farm works fine leave me alone" but then I actually counted the spaces and they were right. Now I get like 30 extra blueberries per harvest in summer and it took zero extra effort once I shifted things over a tile. Little things like that really do add up over a whole season.

Wait, has anyone actually mathed out the income difference between an "aesthetic" farm and a min/maxed one over like 3 years? @carter.casey I feel like 30 blueberries per harvest is small potatoes compared to the setup time you save by just embracing a little chaos. I'd rather spend that extra tile placement time fishing or exploring the mines, honestly.
