Wasted $30 on a fancy spice blend that was basically just paprika and salt
So I bought this "smoky chipotle blend" from a farmers market in Portland for $30. The vendor said it was a small batch thing and would change my chili. Got home, tasted it side by side with my $3 jar of paprika. Almost the same. I was so mad I almost drove back to return it. Now I just mix my own with stuff from the bulk bins and save a ton. Anyone else got duped by an overpriced spice mix they could have made at home?
